About GRS Gambling Trends
GRS Gambling Trends has been following the gambling world since 2019. We started with a simple question that still guides the site: what is actually changing, and what does it mean for the people on the other side of the screen?
What you will find here
Our stories fall into a handful of desks. Gambling and Entertainment hold the bulk of our reporting on slots, sweepstakes, esports and the culture around them. Trend Watch looks at new formats such as crash games, live studios and cashless casinos. Betting Desk explains how sports markets and odds work. Casino Culture covers history, etiquette and game design. Guides and Limits & Wellbeing are the practical end: how to read the small print and how to keep play in proportion.
What we are not
We are not a casino, a bookmaker or an affiliate comparison site. We do not hold player funds, take bets or publish bonus codes, and we do not rank operators. A few of our older articles mention outside websites; that is not an endorsement, and any platform should be checked against its licence and your local law before you sign up anywhere.
The tone we aim for
Curious, calm and a little sceptical. Gambling is a legitimate pastime for many adults, and it also carries real risks. We try to describe both without hype. You will not find promises of winning systems here, because there are none.
Who the site is for
Adults aged 18 and over who want to understand the industry: occasional players, sports fans, people who are simply curious about what keeps appearing in their feeds, and friends or family trying to make sense of someone else's habit.

Good to remember
What stays true whatever the trend
New formats arrive every season. These points do not change with them.
A new game format is not automatically better value than an old one.
Free-to-play and sweepstakes models can still lead to real spending.
Faster payments make it easier to deposit, and just as easy to lose track.
Limits and time-outs work best when they are set before play starts.
How we sort stories
A real trend or just a loud launch?
Signs of a real trend
- It shows up across many operators, not one
- It changes how people play over months
- Regulators start writing rules about it
Signs of marketing noise
- One big launch with an outsized bonus
- Talk of easy or guaranteed wins
- It fades as soon as the promotion ends
We cover both, but we always say which one we think we are looking at.
