Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
GRS Gambling Trends is a reading site. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for personal details to view any page. This policy explains the small amount of information that is still involved and what we do with it.
Information processed when you visit
The site is delivered by a hosting provider. Like almost every web server, its systems process technical data needed to send pages to your browser, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These records are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. We do not use them to identify readers, and we do not combine them with other data.
No analytics, no advertising trackers
We do not run analytics scripts, advertising networks, social media pixels or fingerprinting tools. We do not build profiles of readers or sell data to anyone.
Your choice on the consent box
When you answer the consent box, your browser stores that answer locally so the box does not reappear on every page. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. Wiping this site's stored data in your browser settings deletes it straight away. More detail is on our How We Use Cookies page.
When you email us
If you write to notes@grs-celje.org, or use the newsletter form (which opens your own email program), we receive your email address, name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use this only to reply or, for the newsletter, to send the occasional update you asked for. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and delete newsletter addresses when you ask us to stop.
Outside links
A handful of our stories point to pages elsewhere on the web. Once you follow one of those, the privacy rules of that other site take over.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. Email us and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can. You may also contact the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
